Physiotherapy programming at NRS can involve:

- Assessment of the impact of an injury or disability on physical function and helping clients achieve and maintain the physical ability to resume their pre-injury activities.
- Physical preparation for return to work and/or sports.
- Helping clients develop programs at a local fitness club or sports facility.
- Active treatment and education to restore movement, reduce pain, and manage fatigue. Pain modalities include Laser, Ultrasound, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TNS) and Functional Electric Nerve Stimulation (FES). Hands on treatment including mobilizations, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, connective tissue massage and stretching are also used to help relieve pain and increase range of motion.
- Individualized treatment based on scientific knowledge, a thorough assessment of the condition, environmental factors and lifestyle.

NRS physiotherapy programs are offered in the home, school or local community centers. As well, many clients require a period of treatment at our clinic. Our physiotherapy gym is fully equipped with parallel bars, treadmill, stair-master, weights,Wii technology, EMG Biofeedback, and other NeuroGym equipment, etc., and offers individual treatment rooms for those who require a distraction free environment.
