The second annual Diversity Conference entitled “Equity, Ethics and the Law in Health Care: Integrating Cultural Considerations into Diverse Clinical Care Settings” was held on September 24, 2015 in Brampton Ontario. To see conference agenda and speaker bios, click here.
Once again participants came from various acute care and rehab hospitals, public and private community rehab organizations, the legal community and a variety of cultural/religious, public health, academic and policing organizations across Ontario. And, again, feedback from participants was excellent. The organizing committee/sponsors, Neuro-Rehab Services, William Osler Health System and Carranza Law Firm were thrilled to welcome the Ontario Brain Injury Association as a fellow sponsor this year. This conference was approved for 6 continuing education credits and 6 ICE’s for Life Care Planners- Ethics.
We hope you can join us for the 3rd annual conference to be held in 2016- more information to follow!
